Whoops! Looks like I somehow managed to wipe out my comments, techno genius that I am.

I forgot that we were going out of town for a few days - with no internet access! how does one survive??? - so I apologize for being late with my responses.

Liviania, thanks - I'm glad I found the right editor, too! Glad, too, to still be working with her.

Lori, thanks so much for letting me know you've enjoyed the older contemporary romances as well as the newer romantic thrillers. Pocket Books published my first nine books - the romances and my first two romantic suspenses, Brown-eyed Girl and Voices Carry - and have done a remarkable job keeping them all in print (except for one romance).

Allison, since I know that you know the editor in question, I bet you can see it working out that way! She's the best, IMHO, and we're both blessed to have her in our corner.

SusanL, I'm so happy to hear that you and your mom are enjoying the books. I get mail from such a wide range of readers - from high school right on through to one of my favorite readers who at 91, has read every one of my books, and writes to me after she finishes reading each new book to let me know what she liked (and sometimes what she didn't like!)about the story and/or the characters! Needless to say, she's one of my favorite readers ~

Great story :)

I'm 46, my mother is 68 and we both enjoy your books. Happy for us, you found a great editor willing to go that extra step.

I'm so happy to hear your story. I absolutely love all your books.. from your old romances to your newer thrillers with the hint of romance, but so much heavier on the thriller.

Love, love, love your books!

PS Did I say I was a fan?

Thanks, Jenyfer. And yes, sometimes you have to bend. Wasn't there a song that went something like, You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em?

Janine, you're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
