I’ve really been looking forward to this novel because of Pamela’s posts about her prison experience on The Good, The Bad, and The Unread.

Keishon – Clare’s actual experience really bleeds onto the page. I didn’t read the actual accounts until after I had read the book. It’s alot like one of those “ripped from the headlines” tv shows, except its a book and contains a lot of realistic experiences.

I put this in my cart to buy as a ebook. This will be my first time reading her work. Reading about her experience in jail is what prompted me to try this book. Fascinating reading, btw.

I, too, was fortunate enough to get to read this early, and I can’t recommend it enough. As Jane said, the authenticity is just incredible, and my adrenaline was pumping through pretty much the whole book (for all sorts of different reasons, if you know what I mean ;) ). Definitely a “must read!”

I really enjoyed this one too – and yeah – I can see the rather to sugary baby thing at the end.

I’ve been looking forward to this book for a while too. I was privileged to read bits and pieces of it as Pamela struggled through the writing and knew this would be a fantastic story once it’s done. Congrats, PC!

I cannot wait to read this book! I have to admit, I like long, baby filled epilogues, I’m weird that way I know! LOL I read over and over that people don’t like them, so I know I’m in a minority~so I am looking forward to the epilogue (and since I read the last few pages of a book first. . . .) ;o)
