Carla Kelly is such a wonderful writer; one of the very best, I think. I'm happy Alexander didn't come across as too much of a martyr; he certainly didn't see himself as one. He was just trying to cope as best he could. I really liked the cover that Shakoriel did for me on this book. I hope readers enjoy it also~!
