I read and really enjoyed Merrill’s first book, The Inconvenient Duchess, which is unfortunately not available as an e-book. I have her second (which is on Harlequin’s ebook site) in my TBR. I’ll definitely pick this up when it finally shows up on this side of the pond. Her first book wasn’t perfect, but it was engaging and original enough that I made sure I kept track of her next release. I’m pretty burned out on Regencies, but she brings something fresh to the genre.

I hate to say it but this book isn’t available in ebook format. At least not yet. And only out in print through M&B in the UK. Which was part of the delay in posting this review as I’d hoped that Harlequin/M&B would announce a North American release date.

I’ve tried several HHs in the past and found they didn’t give me the same warm fuzzies that the old Signet Trads did, –although there were other HH that I wished I’d snapped up! — but this one sounds delish.

Hope you guys include it in your Recommended Reads post when the paperback releases in the N.A market.
