Jayne, thank you so much for reading & reviewing the book, and giving it a fair shot. Honestly, I was a little surprised that you liked it, too…lol! I know it’s not for everyone, but I had fun with it and figured readers who wanted quick, sexy stories might appreciate it.

As for the threesome–I did talk to my editor about it before I tried it and she gave me the green light. I took it as far as I felt comfortable taking it, was not censored by her at all. (She’s really terrific.)

The two stories you liked the best are my two favorites, too. I loved getting to write an African American couple. And I also loved getting to write a married-woman-feeling-crappy-about-herself story. As a married mother of 3 who often feels frumpy and dull, I could definitely relate to it and thought readers might, too.

Well, this threesome is definitely three different people. I should say that the heroine set some limits on the encounter so don’t expect fulsome hole fillings but it’s still further than I’ve seen a series book go.

Actually, the first Extreme Blaze had a threesome. Sorta. It was a technology thing, the hero used a future device to “double” himself for the heroine. *g*

I wonder if Harlequin does exchanges – I bought a Harlequin American Series Book that was so contrived I could even finish it. It tumbled into every category trap (baby, mother on the run, dashing hero who makes the world shiny-happy-beautiful) I’ll take a threesome over that sugary fakeness anyday.

Think Harlequin will let me trade that one in for this one???
