Star Over Askar was written by me under my publishing name of Jewel Mist. It is on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. I am working on a novel set on the Rogue River in Oregon. It is a Romance/suspense genrue. The story is of a woman who inherites an historic ranch and must save it financially through an ardous horse race along the Rogue River to Gold Beach near the Pacific Ocean. Entwined in the story is the story of the people who established the ranch and the area. It is full of historical data of the area, and of the traditions of early river settlements.
