She is my favorite writer. I’m very sad to hear that.

I enjoyed her books from the time I discovered HQ Presents in the late 70′s. She will be missed.

Yes, they are Harlequin Presents: 541 is from Oct.’82 and 1013 from Sept. (or Jul.) ’87. She also had several Harlequin Romances, but not as many as Presents. She had at least two single title books: Antigua Kiss (Worldwide, 1982) and Summer’s Awakening (1984).

She was one of the first Mills and Boons authors I read way back when. Wow, 1955! That’s an awesome writing career. My condolences to Ms. Weale’s family.

I have read quite a few of Weale’s books, especially in the Harlequin Presents line. Two of my favorites are Portrait of Bethany (541) and its sequel, Girl in a Golden Bed (1013). Several of her stories are set on tropical islands and/or feature sailing.

What a long career she had! I’ve certainly heard of Anne Weale, but I don’t believe I’ve ever read one. Does anyone have a good one to recommend?
