The idea that the hero's magic is both a blessing and a curse appeals to me, as well as that the heroine actually weakens the hero in some way. But then I just love magicians and sorcerers and wish more paranormals were about them instead of, say, vampires and werewolves. But I agree with Jane 100% that DRIVEN is superb. This is on top of my TBR pile, and I’m still looking forward to it.
