It made me wish I liked the series; I would have bought it. But I read the first one, and although it was okay, it just didn't "get" me on any level. Somehow I never connected emotionally to the characters; they felt too cold to me. Still, every time a new one comes out and I read the buzz, it makes me wonder why it didn't work for me. :( Oh well, to each her own. I read Outlander by Gabaldon and while I enjoyed it, it was enough for me to know later that Jamie and Clare got back together and haven't read any of her other books. And Gabaldon is an auto-buy, so I'm excited to see a new LJ story available. This is gonna be a good month. (Can't forget Vishous' book coming out at the end of September too!) Great list!
