I find another great tool for coverting pdf fo html. PDF to HTML Batch Converter is a useful pdf tool, the converter produces fully functional HTML documents with text, pictures, graphics, table, links and bookmarks, using the original PDF document formatting, and it is more suitable for Internet ublishing.

It did the same thing for me – but double check that you’re registered (click on About (it’s under Help on the left-hand side) and enter the registration information. Otherwise you might end up with a whole bunch of DEMO watermarks on your converted documents.

Well HTML code uses quotation marks for a certain type of descriptor so yeah the translation might lose some.

Thanks, that worked!

Another question – is anyone else losing quotation marks and ever so often, the first letter in a sentence when converting the PDF to HTML? I have lots of hes that used to be Shes.

Quick question: When converting, it takes each page in the PDF and turns into a separate HTML file. Is there any way to set it up so it creates just one HTML file (instead of 200 separate pages)?

I *think* if you go to frames and navigation and select “no frames” it will create one document, but I can’t say I’m an authority on the subject. But it’s worth a try :)

I have the Amber PDF converter too, but for giggles I downloaded this one. I got it registered no problem (even with the evils of Vista toying with me) but I’ll be damned if I can get a converted file to actually open/work. I’ll have to play with it more.

I followed the steps but it didn’t prompt me to register. To do that, click on the About option (under Help), and the registration window pops up.

I already have the Amber PDF Converter. Wouldn’t that accomplish the same thing? It’s relatively inexpensive at $12.95 and was easy to install. This program looks like another mind bender than I’d spend another chunk of my day figuring out. I am so not good at this kind of thing. :0
