As for Johnny and the plot, he had everything to do with it! First and foremost, he was a Bullet Catcher assigned to protect Sage. As most BC’s, he’s tough, has a “past”, is afraid to get close. I thought the author portrayed him very well.

I think one of the reasons I enjoy Roxanne’s books so much is her character development, they are always interesting plus she injects a “special scene” in each of her books.

I’m certainly looking forward to the next book in this series.
