I like this idea simply because I'm one of those terrible people who can never turn anything in on time. Netflix has saved me hundreds of dollars in blockbuster fees, and I think a book service will save me the same amount in library fines. Right now, I own four public library cards -all with over $50 in fines on each of them. People like me need a service like this!
My only question is will the services carry enough of the new releases - and enough of each genre? I personally like fantasy novels, as well as young adult fantasy novels (who didn't like Eragon and Harry Potter), so I hope there will be new releases, and not just "classics".

I'm not sure how Bookswim is any different than Booksfree, which is already established and is cheaper. Weird.
